Reservation Policies

We require a 2-night minimum stay on weekends and a 3-night stay during holiday seasons. Please check with the innkeeper...
Reservations are held with a major credit card only.
Required deposit: full amount for a one-night stay or one half of the total amount for a multiple-night stay
Check-in time is between 4 and 6 pm daily. Early or late check-ins can be arranged in advance; however, late check-ins MUST be arranged with the Innkeeper in advance. Sorry, no exceptions.
Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
La Posada is a non-smoking inn.
La Posada is happy to accommodate guests with special dietary needs. Please inform us of any special requests when you make your reservation or no later than one week prior to your arrival.
Dogs are allowed with prior approval. No cats allowed.

Cancellation Policies
Please understand that due to the small and intimate nature of our business and the high standards to which we adhere, we must make no exceptions to the following deposit and cancellation policies.

You need to cancel no later than 10 days (30 days for holidays) prior to your first reserved night for a full deposit refund.
If you cancel fewer than 10 days (30 days for holidays) prior to your first reserved night, we will make every effort to rebook the room, but if we are unable to do so, we will give you a La Posada de Taos gift certificate in the amount of your deposit.
If you check in, you are responsible for the full amount of all nights reserved, regardless of your length of stay.
We prefer your balance be paid upon arrival with a major credit card, cash, personal or traveler's check.
